In 2025, attorney Maciej Zaborowski was listed in one of the most prestigious international industry rankings, "Lexology," as a leader in the Business Crime Defense: Individuals category. This distinction gained even greater significance when he was designated a "Thought Leader." This title, awarded to only a quarter of nominated lawyers, is given to those who have achieved outstanding results in their professional practice. Additionally, he was awarded the Client Choice distinction in the Business Crime Defense: Individuals category and was named a leader in the Commercial Litigation – Future Leaders category.

In 2026, attorney Maciej Zaborowski, managing partner of KKZ, was honored with the prestigious Client Choice award in the Business Crime Defense category in a ranking organized by Lexology (formerly: Who is Who Legal). This special distinction—granted solely on the basis of nominations from clients and in-house lawyers—is awarded to only 20 experts worldwide!

In 2026, attorney Maciej Zaborowski received the prestigious Global Awards 2026 in the Criminal Law Expert of the Year category, prepared by Leaders in Law. This international platform aims to recognize the best lawyers and law firms from around the world. The distinction is a testament to the quality of the projects he implements and the trust of clients who have been entrusting him and the Kopeć & Zaborowski (KKZ) law firm with their most demanding and complex criminal law cases for years.

Benchmark Litigation Europe is a ranking showcasing the world's best law firms specializing in and excelling in complex litigation. In 2025, Kopeć & Zaborowski was recognized in the Central & Eastern Europe Specialist Firm of the Year category. Attorney Maciej Zaborowski won one of the ranking's most prestigious awards, being named Benchmark Litigation Star and a finalist in the Poland Litigator of the Year category. The Chambers Europe Awards are awarded to law firms and lawyers in various categories. Three times, in 2020, 2022 and 2023 Maciej Zaborowski, Managing Partner of KKZ, as one of few advocates, was awarded in the prestigious Ranking of “50 Most Influential Lawyers" in Poland, prepared by journalists of “Dziennik. Gazeta Prawna.” newspaper.

In 2025, the firm was once again among the distinguished finalists of the prestigious The Lawyer European Awards, organized by the renowned British magazine THE LAWYER, in two categories: Law firm of the year: Central Europe and European specialist law firm of the year: Europe, where in 2024 it received the main award for its unique and innovative client approach. In 2023, it also received an additional distinction: Pro Bono Initiative.

In 2026, Kopeć & Zaborowski (KKZ) advanced to the highest award category – Tier 1 – in the prestigious Media Law International ranking, which recognizes leading media law firms from 56 jurisdictions worldwide. This is a particularly significant distinction, considering that KKZ has been included in this ranking continuously since 2019, systematically strengthening its position among global leaders. In addition, attorney Maciej Zaborowski was individually recognized as a Leading Lawyer for the second consecutive year (2025 and 2026), confirming his established position as one of the leading specialists in media law and reputation protection – both in Poland and internationally.
